Support Workers

Job Title: Support Worker

Job Type: Full / Part Time Hours

Location: Welwyn Garden City and Hertford

Salary Details: £10.65 – £11.41 per hour

We have several fantastic opportunities to join us as a Support Worker within our Adult and Children’s Short Breaks, Supported Living and Residential Services. We are looking for motivated and caring Support Workers who will support our service users to live the life they choose, ideally you will have 1 years’ experience in Health and Social Care.

However, if you are a quick learner, want a change in career and want to learn how to become a great Support Worker then apply!

What does this job involve?

  • Providing support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Completing daily paperwork
  • Keeping our service users safe, managing risk, following policies and procedures
  • Providing personal care
  • Administering medication
  • Sharing knowledge and information with your team regarding the daily wellbeing of our service users
  • Working towards our services users’ goals and dreams in their support plans, update support plans
  • Effective communication and great teamwork

Am I the right person for this job?

  • Ideally you will have experience with working with Adults or Children with Learning Disabilities
  • You will understand the importance of your role as a Support Worker
  • You will be able to work hard and take responsibility
  • We need people who are open & honest
  • We strive to continuously improve the service we provide to our service users and the teams that work with them, is this you?
  • Driver is preferred

 

Waking Night Support Workers

Job Title: Waking Night Support Worker

Job Type: Full / Part Time Hours

Location: Welwyn Garden City and Hertford

Salary Details: £11.83 per hour

We are looking for motivated and caring Waking Night Support Workers who have worked in the role before and ideally have a Level 3 Health and Social Care.
