Waking Night Support Worker

Job Title: Waking Night Support Worker

Job Type: Full time / Part time –  including bank holidays and weekends

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Salary Details: Competitive Salary depending on experience and qualifications

Jubilee House has an opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our Supported Living service based in Welwyn Garden City. This service supports adults, ideally you will be Level 2 qualified and will have experience in a similar role.

As a Waking Night Support Worker you will provide waking night support alongside the sleep-in staff where provided, carrying out domestic duties throughout the night and completing checks on the people we support, or being there if they need anything during the night. You will be responsible for all aspects of the services users, safety and security of the service or their home. You will be required to assist with the personal care of the individual service users/residents as defined in the individuals support plan, ensuring respect and dignity at all times.

A  thorough induction will be provided, this is paramount to us for you to be able to support our Service Users who are at the heart of our Charity.. If you are interested in finding out more about the role we would love to hear from you! 

Support Workers

Job Title: Support Worker

Job Type: Full /Part Time Hours

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Salary Details: £9.16 – £9.84 per hour

We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our dedicated staff teams.

As a Support Worker you will be supporting young people and adults with learning and physical disabilities by developing their independence, exercising their choice, making decisions, knowing their rights and promoting equal opportunities and respect for diversity. You will provide high quality person centred support and care which enables people to live their life in the way they choose. You will be required to work as part of a team and at times some lone working.

Outreach Support Workers

Job Title: Outreach Support Worker

Job Type: Part time

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Salary Details: £10 per hour

Come and join our exciting, fast paced short break team in providing Outreach services either within the community or within our services.

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Outreach team to support a young man on a 1-1 basis. He needs someone to support him to take part in activities and seek out new opportunities in the community on a weekly basis. He is an energetic complex individual. His behaviour can sometimes be difficult therefore he needs an Outreach Support Worker to be able to understand him and respond to his needs pro-actively. We need someone who can keep him safe and well and be committed to supporting him on regular weekly sessions.

 Senior Support Workers

Job Title: Senior Support Worker

Job Type: Full 

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Salary Details: £10.18

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be able to demonstrate your leadership skills, motivate a team, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be a great communicator. It is essential that you have previous experience of working in a similar setting with a strong social care background.

As a Senior Support Worker you will:

· Role model our values and behaviors

· Be a champion for company policies, procedures and legislation

· Effectively communicate with employees, peers, families and other professionals

· Have the confidence and drive to inspire a team and support the Deputy and Registered Manager of the service

· Demonstrate passion and energy to enable adults with learning disabilities to lead a fulfilled life ensuring the service provides the very best care
